GyroSynth is a gesture-driven music synthesizer that maximizes the capabilities of the gyroscope. By simply moving your hand through the air, you are able to play and modulate the sound, reminiscent of the iconic Theremin instrument.

GyroSynth utilizes the gyroscope to accurately measure roll, pitch, and yaw, converting them into sound parameters such as pitch, volume, modulation, or filter cutoff. With exceptional precision of up to 2000 degrees, you can effortlessly create perfectly tuned melodies.

Recognized as a finalist in the 'Most Innovative App' category at the 2010 Best App Ever Awards (148apps), GyroSynth offers an array of features:

Synthesizers: vocal (formant synthesizer), sine wave, square (PWM modulation), saw, granular sample player with recording functionality, and R2D2 - experimental FM modulation
